Terms of Service
Last updated: July 9, 2026
Kehai is a quiet place. These terms explain how to use it — the solo camera, the invite-only Circles, and the optional subscriptions — and what you can count on from us. Everything stays on your device and in your own iCloud; we have no server and cannot see your content.
Getting started
By using Kehai, you agree to these terms. They are short, so please read them once.
Kehai is for people aged 13 and over. If you are a minor where you live, please use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
What Kehai is
Kehai is a mood camera. On your own, it turns a photo into a small colored card and, at the end of the month, weaves your cards into a single tapestry.
You can also form a Kehai Circle — a small, invite-only group of 2 to 6 people — and exchange the color and mood of your cards with one another.
Your cards, photos, and tapestries live only on your device and in your own iCloud (Apple's CloudKit). Kehai has no server of its own, and the people who make Kehai cannot see or reach your content.
Your content
The photos and cards you make stay yours. Using Kehai does not give us any ownership of them.
Anything you share inside a Circle can be seen only by the members of that Circle. Please share only what is yours to share, and do not post anything that infringes someone else's rights.
What not to do
Please don't use Kehai for anything illegal or harmful, or in a way that hurts other people. Don't pretend to be someone you're not, and don't try to reverse-engineer, copy, or interfere with the app.
Being in a Circle
A Circle is a closed space between the person who invited and the people who joined. It works best when everyone treats it gently.
Kehai includes ways to block a member and to report a problem. Because we cannot see anything inside your Circle, the quickest protection is in your own hands: block the person or leave the Circle first, and send us a report if you'd like us to know.
Subscriptions
Kehai Plus is an optional subscription — ¥680 per month or ¥4,800 per year — with a 7-day free trial. Kehai Together (¥980 per month) lets one person pay so that everyone in their Circle enjoys Plus features.
Prices and details follow whatever is shown on the App Store at the time of purchase. You can manage or cancel a subscription anytime in your App Store account settings.
For Kehai Together, if the person paying cancels or leaves, the Circle simply returns to the free tier — nothing you have already made is deleted.
Refunds are handled by Apple and follow Apple's policy.
Changes to the service
Kehai may change, add, or remove features over time, and one day the service could be discontinued. Whatever happens, the data already on your device stays with you.
Provided as it is
Kehai is provided as it is, without guarantees. Please keep your own backups of anything you'd be sad to lose — using the app's export feature to save your cards and tapestries as images is the safest way to hold onto them.
Changes to these terms
If we make an important change to these terms, we'll let you know in the app or on this page.
Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If anything is unclear, please email us at kehai-support@onemu-lab.com — we're glad to help.
