Kehai is built so that your moments stay yours. The app has no sign-up and no server of its own. Solo cards live on your phone; if you join a Kehai Circle, the cards you choose to share travel through your own iCloud — never through servers of ours.
What we collect
Nothing. Kehai does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. There is no sign-up, no analytics SDK, and no advertising identifier in the app.
Photos and camera
The camera is used only to create your mood cards. Color palettes are extracted on your device. Photos and generated cards are saved inside the app's private storage on your phone and are never uploaded anywhere.
If you save a card or tapestry to your photo library, Kehai only adds the image — it never reads your existing photos without your action.
Sharing
When you share a card or tapestry, your phone's standard share sheet is used. The image goes only to the app or person you choose, and nothing is sent to us.
Kehai Circle
A Circle is a small, invite-only group (2–6 people). Cards you post to a Circle are stored in your own iCloud space (Apple's CloudKit) and shared only with that Circle's members — there is no public feed, and cards are never visible to anyone you didn't invite.
We run no servers and cannot see your Circles or their contents. Your identity comes from your device's Apple ID; Kehai never collects your email address or phone number. Leaving or deleting a Circle, blocking a member, and deleting all of your data can be done inside the app at any time.
Widgets and notifications
Home screen widgets read data stored on your device only. Notifications are scheduled locally on your phone — no push servers are involved.
Location and weather
When you take a photo, Kehai uses your approximate location to stamp the card with the weather of that moment — conditions, temperature, and chance of rain. Your location is sent only to Apple's weather service (Apple Weather) to fetch that forecast, and only when you take a photo.
Kehai never stores your location, and it is never sent to us or to anyone else. Your cards contain the weather, not the place.
Purchases
Kehai Premium is an optional subscription handled by the App Store or Google Play through your store account. We never see your payment details. You can manage or cancel it anytime in your store account settings.
Changes to this policy
If Kehai ever adds features that change how data is handled, this page will be updated before those features ship.
Website waitlist
If you sign up for the pre-launch waitlist on this website, we store the email address you enter and the choices you make (your device, and who you would use Kehai with). We use them only to email you about the launch, and we never share them with third parties.
This waitlist is separate from the app, which still collects nothing. To have your waitlist entry removed, email us at kehai-support@onemu-lab.com.
